Amir Khan to be the next pound-for-pound king after Floyd May-weather - says trainer Virgil Hunter

Amir Khan pictured right with his trainer Virgil Hunter, who wants to be the next opponent to fight Mayweather after he won the big fight with Pacquiao, is said to be the upcoming next big hit king by his trainer Virgil Hunter. Hunter states that Amir Khan has the skills to amaze the worle and can dominate the walterweight division after Floyd.

Virgil Hunter who trains Khan to be Floyd Mayweather's successor as the greatest pound-for-pound pugilist in the world says ‘Amir is already very close to being a Hall of Fame boxer,’. ‘He’s already beaten two-time and three-time world champions in (Zab) Judah, (Paulie) Malignaggi, (Luis) Collazo and Marco Antonio Barrera. He’s a two-time world champion himself.

‘There is no time-scale for him to prove he has greatness in him. He has the right speed, he’s at the right age, he has the family, the support… all the ingredients he needs

‘So he’s on a journey and I’m happy and proud to have joined him on that journey. He’s a gift and a blessing to me.
Amir Khan as expected might be the next opponent to Floyd as he and Hunter are taking stands towards that which might happen later this year.
